Simon Karuki
Enterprise Security Risk Management Professional
Simon Karuki is a Board-Certified Security Professional with over 15 years of experience in the management of Enterprise Security Risks, Fraud Risks, and Forensic Investigations.
Simon is the Head of Security and Investigations at I&M Bank. In addition, he has previously served as the Head of Corporate Security and Investigation Services for Ecobank Kenya and East Africa, Head of Security at ABC Bank and Security officer at Equity Bank.
Simon holds a Master of Science Degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester and is certified in Physical Security, Cybersecurity, Fraud Risk Management and Forensic Investigations.
Simon has received recognition at the Global level from ASIS International for his contribution to the advancement of the Security Profession through coaching and mentoring upcoming Security Professionals.
He is also a consummate facilitator of CISSP, CPP, PSP, and PCI certification review classes. Additionally, Simon is a talented writer and speaker on Corporate Security and Investigations; he has spoken in major conferences and seminars within and without Kenya.
Eric Davoine
AXA Group Security
Eric Davoine is the Group Head of Physical Security and Safety at AXA, a leading global insurance company. With a diverse professional background spanning over three decades, he brings a wealth of expertise to his current role.
Eric's career began in the French Foreign Legion, where he honed his skills in security operations, risk management and leadership. He then transitioned to the private sector, working as a security instructor and later as a security manager in a business bank.
In his current position at AXA, Eric oversees the company's physical security and safety measures across the world. He’s in charge of setting and improving the governance and providing the necessary advisory to all the companies within the Group.
He is also the Regional Vice-President of ASIS International's Region 9A.
Eric’s areas of expertise include leadership, security organization, risk assessment, and quality management. He’s also a university lecturer for close to a decade.
Segun Adeyomoye

He is also the Managing partner of Babcock University CODeL Technological Hub. With over a decade of experience in the IT sector, Segun excels in creating technological solutions that align with business objectives. He holds a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and is currently pursuing an MBA to further enhance his strategic capabilities.
Segun's expertise spans across various industries, where he holds esteemed board positions, including education, technology, and religious organizations. This diverse involvement provides him with a holistic perspective, enriching his problem-solving approach. He has helped countless individuals find careers in both technology and the security sectors, underscoring his commitment to Cybersecurity.

I have built a career in Security Risk Management across private, consulting, and government sectors for nearly a decade. My expertise lies in All Source Intelligence Collection and Analysis. Currently, I serve as a Security Information Analyst at Lady Askari, playing a key role in safeguarding operations in the Eastern Africa Region. I have a master’s degree in National Security and Counter Terrorism from the University of Haifa, complementing my Undergraduate Degree in International Relations from USIU Africa. I am passionate about advocating for Diversity and Inclusion within the realm of Security, recognizing the indispensable value it adds to comprehensive risk management strategies.
Dr. Fidel Agai, PhD
Kenya National Police Service
Dr. Fidel Agai is a sociologist specializing in the sociology of law. He is an expert in legal pluralism, ontological security and related theories. He holds a PhD in Sociology, a Master of Sociology, a Master of Art in public administration and policy management and a bachelor’s of education degree. He has extensive experience in police administration and management, strategic planning and research where he is skilled in qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, data analysis, presentation and reporting. He has demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing teams of police officers in both complex urban and remote rural environments. He has contributed to the effective and efficient administration and operations of the National Police Service at lower and middle-level management levels. Some notable achievement includes his pioneer work in the actualization of the digital occurrence book and the youth desk concept during his tenure as the officer commanding Buruburu and KICC police stations. He is currently working as a lecturer at the National Police Leadership Academy. He is a member of the Kenya Association of Public Administration and Management (KAPAM). He is also the author of two books and several articles in journals and magazines.

She is also a Graduate member of IRM (Grad-IRM), a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Certified Sustainability Professional. Her experience spans across Financial Services, Manufacturing, Investments and Humanitarian Sectors in Africa and Europe.
